In Science, we began studying reptiles, fish, and amphibians. Students learned about their characteristics, habitats, and life cycles, and compared how each group is alike and different.

In Music, we learned about four different composers and listened to examples of their work, discussing how their styles were similar and different.

We enjoyed several snowy days building snowmen and working together outside. As the snow melted, students spent time jumping in puddles and using the mud and water kitchen for lots of creative kitchen play.

Our Tuesday/Thursday group welcomed Angie, who demonstrated how she spins different kinds of wool into yarn. Students observed the process and even got to participate in the spinning process!

We are looking forward to warmer days outside and getting our gardens started for the year!
