Statement of Faith

We believe the Bible to be inspired, the only infallible, authoritative, inerrant Word of God. (2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 1:21)

We believe there is only one God, eternally existent in three persons – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Genesis 1:1, Matthew 28:19, John 10:30)

We believe in the deity of Christ (John 10:33), His virgin birth (Isaiah 7:14, Matthew 1:23, Luke 1:35), His sinless life (Hebrews 4:15 & 7:26), His miracles (John 2:11), His vicarious and atoning death (1 Corinthians 15:4), His ascension to the right hand of the Father (Mark 16:19), His personal return in power and glory (Acts 1:11, Revelation 19:11).

We believe in the absolute necessity of regeneration by the Holy Spirit for salvation because of the exceeding sinfulness of human nature; and that men are justified on the single ground of faith in the shed blood of Christ and that only by God’s grace and through faith alone we are saved. (John 3:16-19 & 5:24, Romans 3:23 & 5:8-9, Ephesians 2:8-10, Titus 3:15)

We believe in a resurrection to eternal life in heaven and a resurrection to eternal condemnation in hell. (John 5:24-29)

We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ. (Romans 8:9, 1 Corinthians 12:12-13, Galatians 2:26-28)

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a Godly life. (Romans 8:13-14, 1 Corinthians 3:16 & 6:19-20, Ephesians 4:30 & 5:18)

We believe God creates each person as male or female and the institution of marriage and the Biblical roles of manhood and womanhood are ordained and designed by God. (Genesis 1:27; 2: 18-25)

We believe the term “marriage” has only one meaning and that marriage is sanctioned by God which joins one man and one woman in a single, exclusive union as delineated in scripture. We believe any form of sexual immorality is sinful and offensive to God. (Genesis 1:27; 2:18-25; Matthew 19:4; Mark 10:6)

We believe in the sanctity of human life, which begins at conception. (Psalm 139)

Growing faith, friendships, and a love for learning

Application

Our school accepts all age-appropriate applications until maximum enrollment is reached. It is our goal to be a blessing to our children, their families, and the community through teaching and example.

Please contact us to receive information on available openings, an application for admission, and information about tuition cost or to set up a time to tour the school and meet with the administrator and teacher. Student handbooks, daily schedules, academic calendars, etc. will be distributed to enrolled students.

We are happy to accommodate student needs on many levels but are not equipped to provide a high-quality education for students with profound disabilities at this time. Each student’s enrollment will be considered on a case-by-case basis by the administrator, teacher, and board of directors after an application and a family interview has been completed. Students with a history of severe behavior problems will not be granted admission.

Volunteer

Family is an integral and motivating part of a child’s education. We encourage parent volunteers in the classroom and siblings learning alongside one another as classmates. Parents of enrolled students are asked to spend one day each month volunteering in the classroom.

If you are not a parent of one of our students, but would like to volunteer at the schoolhouse, please contact the administrator to set up an appointment for an interview. We’d love to have you join us!

All schoolhouse volunteers over the age of 18 are required to submit all state required clearances before the start of the school year.
