Hello, friends!
While we hummed away preserving the harvest from the garden and orchard, many steps have been completed at the schoolhouse site. The foundation block was laid and backfilled, the plumbing roughed in and inspected, the in-floor heat was installed (because wearing shoes will be optional for our students), and the final preparations were made to the foundation. Before the cold weather arrived, the concrete was poured, and we are now ready for Hickory Circle to bring the pieces of our 1850 one-room schoolhouse and put them back together!
While the physical foundation for Juneberry Hill Schoolhouse has been taking shape, the Board of Directors and I have continue to work on the necessary paperwork and preparations. Please join us as we continue to pray for the spiritual foundation of the school, the families and students who will attend, and the teacher who will lead the students. It is incredible to see the hillside transform and the dream of our little schoolhouse taking shape!
